Summary: A comparison platform for professional courses, development and CIPD.
Have you ever tried to find a training course for yourself? After a quick Google search, you’ll find countless companies running similar courses and all at different prices. The research involved to find a good quality course, within your budget is time-consuming. In addition, the pandemic has brought further challenges. Pre-covid the majority of course providers would host training events in venues with up to 50 people per cohort. Now, providers are hosting the same courses online with no change to the price.
Compare My Development aims to be the trusted destination for consumers and corporates, to browse and book their professional courses. So you can be sure the course you’re booking is of high quality, credible and at a good price.

Summary: Improving the engagement and upskilling of young employees through gaming technology.
Young employees are ambitious and tend to want to move up the career ladder fast. However, due to their inexperience and speed at which they want to develop, they often make mistakes that cause problems for companies.
In corporate businesses, there are currently no systems in place to support their younger employees' development. Though there are KPIs for job performance, there are none that measure the outcomes of any courses and training they might take. Impatient to prove their development to employers, and reach the next step on the ladder, young employees often resign and move on to the next job in search of more experience.
Game Reflect wants to change that. Aimed at Gen Z, the product will gamify the learning and reflection process that is critical to improving as a professional.
My Home Chef

Summary: For people looking to book professional chefs for at-home private dining experiences.
Hiring a private chef at a dinner party is a great experience for guests and can guarantee high-quality dishes will be served. A quick search on Google will bring up a list of private chefs and catering companies, however, this doesn’t necessarily guarantee they are the best quality chefs locally, and within budget. Google shows only the websites with the best SEO strategy or ads. This competitive landscape makes it hard for chefs unfamiliar with digital marketing to be discovered.
My Home Chef is building a platform where customers can browse the profiles of talented chefs, review their menus and book them for a private dinner party. The chef will turn up with all the necessary tools and ingredients, cook it in the customer's kitchen, clean up and leave. All for a similar price as eating in a restaurant.

Summary: A peer-to-peer fashion rental community.
Gen Z is a generation that has never known a world without social media and influencer culture. A key part of what they share online is the outfits they wear, so consistently seeking new clothes to keep their content on-trend and interesting for their followers is a priority. However, ‘fast fashion’ culture results in lots of clothes being put in landfills. This audience understands their negative contribution to the environment, but are conflicted between keeping on-trend for content and buying fast fashion for affordability.
Swished is building a peer-to-peer fashion rental and resale platform, with the look and feel of a social media app. The application will allow users to upload images of themselves in an outfit and tag which items are for rent or sale - creating shoppable content. Users can access a wide range of affordable clothes to rent or buy, extending the life cycle of clothes and reducing the need to buy ‘new’.

Summary: Making conveyancing cheaper, quicker and easier.
The world as we know it has changed, and the way we buy and sell homes is no exception. Postal communication and face-to-face services are part of the old world and instead smart interfaces, e-signatures and e-conveyancing have replaced traditional services.
YouConvey believes the housing market can still go one step further. Their mission is to provide control of the conveyancing process to the buyer and seller, whilst ensuring all the legalities are still handled by the professionals. Making the whole operation cheaper, quicker, and easier for all parties involved.
